Our products start with one question: What do athletes need to stay healthy and perform at their peak, day after day?

For us, it was personal.

We felt the pain: for years ankle injuries impacted our lives on and off the court, so we worked with players, orthopedic surgeons, and shoe dogs, to develop tech to give athletes “More Days” – And + Diem.

The Pivot 1.0 Tech Breakdown

1. Flex Lock Straps
   Dual straps are built into the upper to surround your foot for unparalleled lockdown and responsiveness. Anatomically designed to allow mobility while limiting excessive (dangerous) mobility.

2. Midfoot Webbing
   Lace-to-base webbing on both sides provides dynamic midfoot lockdown. Extra responsiveness on hard cuts, extra protection against blowouts.

3. Dual Heel Counters
   A soft inner counter cups the foot, while a hard molded external counter keeps everything in place under strong forces. 

4. Forefoot Outrigger
   A high wall to push off for quick cuts, a wide toe box for natural foot splay and extra balance, and a prominent outrigger for protection in dangerous situations.

5. Heel Outrigger
   Key when feet get under you in the lane or on the 3-point line.

6. ReAxon Bottom
   Full-length EVA, a thin layer of memory foam, and a heel Poron crash pad provide shock absorption. ETPU strobel and forefoot energy return PU foam give extra bounce. Molded arch and a deep heel cup for support. All seamlessly combine for the comfiest possible ride.

We designed the Pivot 1.0 with targeted ankle reinforcement—not a brace, nothing overly restrictive that weakens the ankle. Our built-in protection makes you one with your shoe and engages when it’s needed most.  

Built for Movement

From defensive slides to hard cuts, the Pivot 1.0 is built for motion in every direction. We fine-tuned our outsole’s herringbone tread pattern through rounds of wear testing and designed the Dual Outriggers to provide extra proprioception, balance and support when your ankle starts to invert.

From the upper to the outsole, The Pivot is constructed with quality materials built to last and to help you feel your best, during and after playing. The Escape Insoles, included in every pair, help your feet feel fresh after even the longest sessions.

It took two years to make The Pivot a reality. We wear tested with athletes, PTs, pros, and weekend warriors. We listened to feedback. We made adjustments. And we launched with a shoe that redefines safety and performance on the court.
